Middlebury College professor Jon Isham discusses The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development that was established in 1945 and is commonly known as The World Bank. Isham, a professor of economics and environmental studies, looks at the history of The World Bank, its policies in lending to countries in need, and its future under the leadership of Paul Wolfowitz. In this discussion with RETN's Scott Campitelli, Isham examines the positive impact of The World Bank as well as some of the questionable policies and encouraging privatization within developing countries.
