Why Can't You Be More Universal? A Portrait of Differing Unities from Margin to Center
Dr. Lewis R. Gordon, philosopher and Brown University professor, presents a lecture reflecting on the theme of the 1997-98 Waters Chair Series. This year's theme is E Pluribus Unum: The Search for Unity Through Diversity. Dr. Oren W. Davis, Coordinator, Faith P. Waters Endowed Chair of Humanities provides the introduction. This is the 11th season of the Waters Chair Series.
