Made in Palestine is the first exhibition of contemporary Palestinian art to tour the U.S. This remarkable exhibition brings together works by Palestinian artists from the West Bank, Gaza, Israel, other parts of the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. In an article about the exhibition, the Christian Science Monitor commented, "Through a mix of painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, and video, the artists sow tales of love and loss. They speak of struggle and success. But most important, they offer hope for the future."

Samia Halaby, a Palestinian artist living in New York whose work is included in the exhibition and who played an integral role in collecting the works on display in the exhibition, speaks about her vision as an artist and activist in her talk entitled "Where the Soul Takes Flight: Art and Resistance."
