In tribute to George Stoney, who died in July 2012, the Vermont International Film Festival convened this panel of media makers, advocates, and scholars to put Stoney's career in perspective. The discussion includes excerpts of some of Stoney's work from more than 60 years of documentary filmmaking, and looks at his efforts as an educator sometimes known as the father of public access television.
