Michelle Forman, chosen as National Teacher of 2001, talks about teaching world history and human rights after the events of September 11, 2001. How to make sense of these tragic events is still difficult but it takes interaction with students to begin to sort it out. Her own students put together a march to demonstrate the need for World Solidarity. But there is an interconnection between and among all nations that were affected.
