Vermont Commission on Women in partnership with Vermont Department of Health,  Vermont Attorney General-Civil Rights Unit, and the Vermont Human Rights Commission created this video to help you understand your rights as a pregnant worker.

Vermont employers are now required to provide reasonable accommodations for an employee’s pregnancy-related condition, unless it would impose an undue hardship on the employer. This law closed a gap in state and federal employment law to ensure workers experiencing healthy, uncomplicated pregnancies are entitled to reasonable accommodations under the law when required.
