Vermont employers are now required to provide reasonable accommodations for an employee’s pregnancy-related condition, unless it would impose an undue hardship on the employer. This law closed a gap in state and federal employment law to ensure workers experiencing healthy, uncomplicated pregnancies are entitled to reasonable accommodations under the law when required.
