Joy Cohen is the author of three published works of non-fiction, and many theatrical scripts, video scripts, teleplays, and screenplays. Her primary focus has been on the arts, the environment, and social justice. Joy has been commissioned by the wonderful Theatre Kavanah to write "Of the Better Kind" a play about the multifaceted, many layered, compelling story of The Lost Shul Mural, painted by Lithuanian immigrant Ben Zion Black in 1910.

Sharon Panitch is a writer, theater producer, publicist and activist. She is the Co-Director/Communications at Theatre Kavanah which produces powerful and entertaining works that explore the rich, delicious, funny, complicated, sometimes difficult reality of what it is to be Jewish. Through their productions, they celebrate the Jewish experience and spark dialogue around issues of prejudice, acceptance, assimilation, survival, and cultural identity. By partnering with community organizations, schools, synagogues, and interfaith collaboratives, they recognize and share the universality of these issues.

PechaKucha Night Burlington is presented by the Fleming Museum, Burlington City Arts, Shelburne Museum, and the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. Media services are provided by RETN. Additional support is provided by Seven Days.
