Recap of the 2012 state-wide conference about the Genuine Progress Indicator and using wellbeing measures to evaluate outcomes of policy and programs. The Vermont State Legislature recently passed a Bill for measuring the actual, delivered well-being of Vermonters. With the Vermont Genuine Progress Indicator, we have the opportunity to map a new "dashboard" of indicators that tracks sustainable well-being. The conference was presented by The Gund Institute for Ecological Economics, Gross National Happiness USA, and Common Good Vermont—partners in improving the sustainable well-being of Vermonters.
