One of the great scare films of the 1950’s, set in a creepy haunted house rented for a ghoulish party by an eccentric millionaire, this is a horrific version of Agatha Christie’s murder mystery And Then There Were None. Guests are invited to a sinister house by a mysterious host and each one is in jeopardy of being murdered before the night is out. The reasons for the foul deeds are a jealous husband (Vincent Price) and a wife plotting to do him in. Some really great shock moments, including a giant vat of acid and party favors of small coffins containing loaded revolvers, which do no good, of course, against ghosts!
