The Stefan Pierson Memorial Soccer Tournament is in honor of Stefan Pierson who passed away at the age of 22 after battling bone cancer for four years. As a four-year varsity player, soccer was one of Stefan’s many passions. The foundation "Conquer The Day" was founded to help other young adults battling cancer continue to pursue their passions by overcoming the physical limitations of cancer, and to give them the opportunity to conquer the day, living life to the fullest and positively impacting those around them.

This tournament supports young adults that are currently being treated at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
