Program Description:

Recent work by VYO Music Alive composer-in-residence Robert Paterson is featured in this program of musical contrasts. The VYOA is thrilled to be working with Mr. Paterson as part of a three-year Meet the Composer/League of American Orchestras Music Alive residency awarded in 2009. Pianist Tim Woos, a VYO senior from New Haven, is featured in Brahms’ solemn Piano Concerto No. 1.
