Program Description:
Vaughn Collins, M.S. examines two data sets, including 1) information from a statewide public opinion survey conducted by the Center for Rural Studies and 2) all 1994 lottery sales by agent, aggregated into local market areas. He then analyzes these data sets by focusing on who plays the Vermont lottery, how much players spend as a portion of their income, and players' socioeconomic status.
