Program Description:
Ellen McCulloch-Lovell, deputy assistant to U.S. President Bill Clinton and advisor to First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton on the Millennium, addressed the topic "Vermont and Beyond: The Future of the Arts and Humanities" in a wide-ranging talk that examined the history of Vermont's public commitment to the arts and humanities. She also encouraged Vermonters to "imagine the future" by participating in the Millenium Council's programs to support the civic work of university artists, humanists, and designers.
