Program Description:
Recognized for nearly 200 years and reported to effect between 250,000 and 500,000 people in the U.S., spinal stenosis primarily occurs in people over age 50 and is characterized by back pain, leg cramping and numbness. Explore the differences between normal spinal anatomy and the abnormal anatomy associated with spinal stenosis, review the natural history of clinical syndromes with spinal stenosis and learn about treatment options for managing symptoms.
