Program Description:

Tom Slayton is editor emeritus of "Vermont Life Magazine." In this talk, using specific examples from Vermont, he will explore what a sense of place is, how it is established, and how it can be lost. He will also assess Vermont's sense of place and whether it is being strengthened or weakened. This is the Center for Research on Vermont's 2007 Annual Meeting Presentation.
