Program Description:
Rajput Moustaches (I baffi dei Rajput) is a short documentary about the social significance of moustaches among Rajasthani men. The moustache is a symbol of dignity and caste status and the lion-like fighter spirit of Rajput soldiers. Due to the influx of globalization and modernization young men in Rajasthan prefer to be clean shaven. But the tradition still lives through the well-kept older generations, who sport some of the most beloved moustaches of the world.
