Program Description:
Organized by the Association of Africans Living in Vermont and CEDO, this program provides some opportunity for interactive, cross cultural exchange and some insights from new American families living in the Burlington area from Kenya and Burundi. The participants offer a brief overview of the history and culture of Burundi and Kenya, the different experiences, challenges and successes of living as African refugees and immigrants in Vermont.
