Program Description:
Gain insight from UVM's more than five years of research findings on how the network of acupuncture points and meridians can be viewed as a representation of the network formed by connective tissue. See a visual demonstration of new ultrasound techniques that highlight how connective tissue responds to acupuncture needling and review details of a new study on the role of acupuncture and connective tissue in treating low back pain. Helene Langevin, M.D., Research Associate and Professor of Neurology presents.
