Program Description:
Roughly 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's Disease, a progressive and fatal brain disorder. Explore the impact of aging on memory, characteristics of dementia, and how dementia and AD are related. Examine the causes and clinical features of the condition, as well as the concept of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) - a condition considered a precursor to AD - and how the disease is treated now and may be prevented in the future.
