Program Description:

Four hundred years ago, the ancestors of the modern Taiwanese came across the sea. All of the early aborigines and Han immigrants had to experience the danger and violence of the sea to reach the island. The aborigines looked to their forefathers to bless their fate. The Han immigrants received spiritual support from "Matsu," the Goddess of the Sea. Resources of interest: www.gio.gov.tw.
