Program Description:

Irish and American political, social, and commercial interactions figure in Vermont history as illustrations of the rich complexities of the North Atlantic community during the eighteenth century. The Seven Years War and its political aftermath in both America and Great Britain brought Irish soldiers or immigrants here who would participate later in the colonial revolution and contingent events of Vermont
