Program Description:

Lincoln Center Institute launched the national Imagination Conversations initiative in 2009. By next year, some 50 Conversations will have occurred in about 40 states. The Flynn  hosted Vermont’s event, bringing together leaders from education, business, and the nonprofit sector with distinctive points of view and a strong interest in imagination: Laurie Anderson, stellar creator and performer; Tiffany Bluemle, Executive Director, VT Works for Women; David Finney, President, Champlain College;  Jostein Solheim, CEO, Ben and Jerry's, modeerated by VPR's Jane Lindholm. The Conversations promote the integration of imaginative learning into American public schools,in order for students to succeed in the 21st century.
