Program Description:
Mortality among heart attack victims has improved dramatically over the past two decades. Learn about the statewide cardiac trauma system that has led to Vermont ranking in the top 20 percent in the country for survival after a heart attack. Explore the clinical attributes of coronary heart disease, which accounts for more than 1.2 million heart attacks each year, and the technology and treatments clinicians use to prevent death and improve health outcomes.
Presented by Harold Dauerman, M.D., Professor of Medicine, Director of Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratories and Cardiologist
