Program Description:

Vermont and the nation are in a time when we are looking for new green initiatives which will benefit the environment and the economy. No clear consensus has arisen over the most appropriate technologies for the next generation. This transformation of society presents opportunities for innovative contributions from the science and engineering community across a wide variety of areas including energy.

The Vermont Academy of Science and Engineering has assembled a panel representing a broad cross-section of expertise (including the research community, education, industry, state government and advocacy) to help us explore the many green options under consideration. This event is a collaborative engagement of the audience and the panel, to come up with concrete suggestions for viable directions best suited to Vermont.
