Program Description:
Gain an understanding of the prevalence of substance use and related disorders nationally and regionally and what researchers have learned about the genesis, maintenance, and recovery from substance use disorders. Review specific ongoing studies that aim to determine effective treatments for cocaine dependence, prescription opioid dependence, as well as cigarette smoking and opioid dependence among pregnant women.
