Program Description:
With rising transportation costs, and health and environmental concerns, locally grown foods have become more and more appealing throughout the nation. Ellen Kahler, Executive Director for the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund will discuss how she and her organization are impacting education, customer demand, food distribution systems, and new farming niches to create a culture, practice, and market for locally grown foods.
