Program Description:

David Cavanagh’s books of poems include Falling Body, released this year by Salmon Poetry of Ireland, and The Middleman, also published by Salmon. David’s poems have appeared in leading journals in Canada, Ireland, the U.S. and the U.K, and in several anthologies. He has also given dozens of popular readings in Vermont and Canada. He performs regularly with the poetry/jazz group, PoJazz. David has sometimes taught poetry and Canadian literature at a number of colleges including Johnson State College, Saint Michael’s College, the former Trinity College and Georgian College in Ontario. A native of Montreal with dual Canadian/American citizenship, he has lived in Burlington since 1982.
