Avian flu pandemic warnings flooded the news this winter. Discover the differences between avian and human influenza viruses and find out how flu viruses can change or mutate. Explore where bird flu has been detected and the symptoms of bird flu in animals and people, as well as the government's plans to control bird flu if there is a large outbreak in humans.
