Program Description:
Frederick S. Lane, author of "Cybertraps for the Young," discusses the legal consequences that children face as a result of the use and misuse of of electronic devices with Jeanne Collins, Burlington School District's superintendent.
Lane offers practical suggestions to parents, teachers, and school administrators for minimizing the likelihood that children will stumble into one or more of the myriad pitfalls that lurk online.
He also suggests that his press release "The Top 5 Things Rep. Anthony Weiner Can Teach Your Children" could be a useful starting point to engaging your children in a conversation about sexting.
