Program Description:
This moving tale of a young woman's attempt to find her place in the world after her release from a Taiwanese prison explores the depths of depression and the universal yearning for love. Alone upon her release, the protagonist Yu finds respite in a friend who runs a brothel and takes her in. What unfolds is an emotionally intense story heartened by the enduring support of companionship when Yu's life seems to spiral out of control.
