Currently the most common chronic disorder in children, more than 22 million Americans are reported to have asthma, a chronic inflammatory condition of the lungs that restricts the airways. Discover how Vermont researchers are working to better understand and treat this disease, how clinicians determine what to prescribe, and why some medications do not work for all asthma sufferers.
