stories of universal appeal, fiction writers, biography, autobiographyProgram Description:
Acclaimed Vermont writers Tim Brookes, Elizabeth Inness-Brown, Reeve Lindbergh, and Dana Yeaton examine the role biography and autobiography play in fiction. Each of these writers, novelists, essayists, memoirists. and playwrights has plumbed the idiosyncrasies of their own lives to find stories with universal appeal. Novelist and Burlington Free Press columnist, Chris Bohjalian, introduced the panel, and UVM English Professor Paul Eschholz and director of the Center for Research on Vermont moderates the discussion.
